As Above, So Below (X-S20, TTArtisan 75mm F/2, TTArtisan 56mm F/1.8)
Some personal work with Manila based artist and content creator Sagasenn , who's mixing of Japanese gyaru and nostalgic/pop culture filipino style has been such an inspiration for me the past year. It's is what led me to shoot this series as a loose tribute to the work of Masahisa Fukase, especially the sense of mutual observation and the what elevation does to that dynamic.
All raws processed in LR Classic, with the Classic Negative color profile as a base. I will continue to give the TTArtisan 75mm F/2 endless praise as an incredible, small, cheap, well built telephoto option for Fuji X. The 56mm isn't bad either, but is less special of a lens. The lighting used in this series is 1x Godox V480, 1x Godox iT32 (both gelled), triggered by a Godox X5, on two Ulanzi MT-80 stands/hand held poles. Included some BTS images of lighting setups and the end.
