Doesn't Fujifilm seems like the perfect hybrid between film and digital?
Maybe this has already been said a ton in this group, but I'm going to say it again...
I just got the Fujifilm XE5 kit with 23mm lens. I'm an "on and off" hobbyist and this is my first digital camera since the early 2000s. Had been shooting on an old Nikon SLR film camera from the 90s the last while but was finding it hard to maintain consistency of use and overall skill development. Don't get me wrong, film is awesome. But, it's expensive, delicate (especially when traveling), space consuming, you can't get immediate feedback -- the list goes on...
That said, I don't like the "raw" look of digital and I know that I'll never spend the time editing my photos.
In comes Fuji with there awesome recipes! I was skeptical at first but now that I've had my camera for just over a month, I'm incredibly happy. Instead of pulling my camera out a few times a year for trips / special occasions, I now feel like I can bring it around with me every day!
Don't get me wrong, I love (and will always love) film photography, but I think that the Fujifilm recipe/workflow is the next best thing.
