Old-School Glass, New-School Sensor... The Nokton Hits Different
Been pairing the **Voigtländer Nokton 55mm f/1.2 SL II S** with my **Fujifilm X-T5**, and honestly… this combo is ridiculous.
Shot a couple frames of my cat to test it and immediately remembered why people still chase fast, manual glass. Wide open at f/1.2 it’s got that creamy separation, gentle falloff, and a character you just don’t get from modern clinical lenses.
Manual focus slows you down in the best way. The X-T5 makes it easy, the Nokton makes it fun.
Curious who else is running vintage or manual lenses on Fuji. Any sleeper favorites I should try next?
