Firefighting • Fujifilm X100V
Got an X100V last summer and it was a pretty big shift for me, especially coming from Canon. The learning curve took some getting used to, but it’s become a camera I genuinely enjoy bringing to scenes.
I’ve had the opportunity to document the men and women of the fire service for over 8 years now, and the X100V has been a really fun tool for that. It’s changed how I see moments at calls and pushed me to think a bit differently in terms of perspective and composition.
The size is a big part of it for me, easy to throw in a jacket and not think twice about carrying it. It’s been a solid companion for documenting the job and the people behind it.
