My camera roll from Tokyo
These days I usually travel with both my Fuji X-T4 and a Leica Q3 28mm. I’m apparently not allowed to show you the Leica shots here. I once had a post deleted by the mods for mixing two camera brands in one story 😅 but in practice, the combination works incredibly well for me.
In fact, shooting the Q3 alongside the Fuji has made me appreciate my 56mm F1.2 even more. The 28mm on the Leica handles the wider, environmental stuff, while the 56mm on the Fuji gives me something completely different. I’ve found myself really enjoying that two-camera / two-focal-length setup rather than constantly changing lenses. I also brought the 70-300mm and 33mm f1.4 with me but the 56mm stayed on most of the times.
Anyway, these are the Fuji half of my Tokyo camera roll. Curious which ones resonate, which ones are a bit meh, and whether there’s one in particular that stands out to you?
I’ll be posting the combined Fuji + Leica set and the full Tokyo story later today on Instagram if you want to see how the two cameras worked together @ nickpic
