Hot Pixel hell
(First two photos are the RAW, second two are JPG)
I shoot on an older Xt1 and usually push the iso pretty hard because I like the grain texture produced by this camera - BUT - these were taken at ISO 800 and holy shit I have a lot of dead/hot pixels. I counted between 16 & 20.
Thankfully between the jpg and high ISO I usually can’t see them.
I’ve read that the pixel mapping function was introduced on the XTrans-III sensor, so I’m out of luck. But I’m hoping one of you Fuji wizards knows something the rest of the internet doesn’t.
