First month with the X-T 30 III and kit lease
A month ago, I followed my brother's recommendation and bought my first camera, the Fujifilm X-T30 III with the XC 13-33mm kit lens. Before that, I only shot with my iPhone.
The film simulations and recipes seduced me since I have no idea how to edit pictures. That being said, the first few days were a bit overwhelming. I had to learn the camera settings and fell into the trap of installing too many film simulations and not remembering which one I used on some pictures.
After a few (a lot) of YouTube videos, I learned about Aperture Priority and stuck with it since. This keeps things simple for now while allowing me to focus on composition. Over time, I also found some recipes I liked; I tweaked them a tiny bit and stuck with them. I still need to reduce the grain a bit and try some black and white, which feels a bit intimidating.
I've selected a few of my favorite pictures I shot near where I live in Lausanne, Switzerland. Over the last month, I shot around 1,300 pictures. I've grown attached to having my camera with me as it makes me pay attention to my surroundings in a way I wasn't before.

The recipes I have on my camera are Bright Kodak, CubanAce, Classic Cuban Negative, and Alpine Negative. The last three recipes are from a Swiss photographer (Osan Bilgi) who lives where I live; this might explain why they work well for me!
