seven days in france
I recently went on a trip to Paris. And while I was there my world was flipped upside down. But in a good way. In the weeks leading up to the trip, i had a lot of anticipation, because I knew I was going with a friend who isn’t afraid to tell me the hard truths. you know, the type of friend who lovingly helps point out your blind spots so that you can grow.
it was the hardest and most eye opening week of my life, all in the beautiful setting of paris. it felt like a human turning me around and helping me look at my own shadow finally, just to see it’s only a shadow.
I let so many parts of myself go. false identities that I had held onto so so tightly, that were all built on fear. I ate six croissants one day and took a lot of photos to cope with all the things that were coming up. I also learned how to pray.
here’s a few photos from moments I captured while I was there.
