Found a good deal on an X-E1 and i am thoroughly impressed!
So After my disappointing time with the xm5 and x100vi (tldr found the build subpar and the images they took a bit performative) i found an x-e1 ad for cheap ($230 with the 16-50 kit lens) and since i was moving away from fullframe (nikon zf) i thought this would pair nicely with my dlux8 as my mirrorless system.
After sealing the deal, I went to my local camera shop to pick up a sigma 18-50 2.8 been lusting over this lens for months now thinking i'd buy one for when i eventually buy a sony a6700 (which turned to a fuji xe1 lol). After trying the lens out with the xe1 i was enamored at how soft and effortless these jpegs looked! The natural grain from the lackluster iso performance paired so well with the softness as well as the rolloffs... I have to admit the xtrans1 may be my favorite xtrans of the bunch (tried the 3, 4, and 5). This thing is just awesome!
