Rainy Paris | Color & Monochrome | Old Fujifilm X-A5
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a small series of around ten photos shot in Paris earlier this week.
All images were taken with an old Fujifilm X-A5, mostly SOOC JPEGs, using Classic Chrome and Monochrome.
Paris in the rain creates strong contrasts — wet streets, sharp reflections, dark silhouettes, and bold highlights.
I leaned into that rather than trying to keep things soft or muted, switching between color and black & white depending on the scene.
These were all taken while walking through the city in the rain, keeping things simple and letting light, weather, and timing do most of the work.
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from fellow Fujifilm shooters who still enjoy older bodies and shooting straight out of camera.
Thanks for looking
