X-T5 Low Light / Bad Lighting Performance
I feel like most of what I see on here are photos, while great, that are in very ideal lighting conditions. So, I wanted to post some photos that I was able to get over the weekend in less than ideal lighting that I’m really happy with.
Setup: X-T5 + 33 f/1.4 or 56 f/1.2 (most are with the 33)
These are all JPGs that were very lightly edited (Less than 1 minute spent per photo) to adjust contrast or exposure slightly.
ISO: up to 12800, but I found that most of the usable images topped out about 10,000, the photos at 12,800 were a bit too grainy for my taste, but in all reality were usable.
Autofocus was a little hit or miss with the 56 1.2 (older version) but I didn’t have a single issue with the 33 1.4
These were all shot between f/1.4 and f/2.8.
This was my first attempt at shooting live music and having to adjust to the poor lighting conditions at bars and for not sitting down and editing the RAWS I’m really happy with them.
Let me know what you think!
