Trumpeter Swans
These magnificent birds are the largest aquatic bird in America, with 8’ wingspans. They were almost extinct, but thanks to the amazing work of conservation groups, they are coming back.
These are overwintering in the St Croix River, on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
