Night Photo with my new 16mm f1.4, XT-4
I've had my XT-4 for quite a while now and the only lens I've used so far is my 16-80mm f4, so I decided to splurge and pick up the 16mm f1.4. It arrived late at night, but part of the reason I picked it up was to try out more night photography with the bigger aperture. So I ventured out in my neighborhood around midnight on a rainy night to see if I could hunt down one of the foxes that are always running around. I was lucky enough to catch this guy, who wasn't too shy about letting me get up close. I definitely could have done better with the focus, I'm still getting used to it with this lens. I typically only shoot through the viewfinder, but for some reason the red highlighting for focus (not sure of the technical term) doesn't seem to work as well with this lens as my zoom lens. Still, I like the shot and thought it would be fun to share here.
