Golden Hour is the only recipe I utilize... prioritize lighting not settings [Fuji XT4 XC 50-230mm]
Included are 2 photos of the same shot, taken a few hours apart. With the one change being different lighting. Same "recipe" otherwise
Lots of people always asking about recipe/settings and a lot of it doesn't matter as much as the situation you find or put your self in.
To me this photo is just ok, it looks lovely with the layers/colours/etc But im seeking to illustrate how crucial lighting is. It made a rather boring shot more appealing and interesting. Apply that to an interesting subject/composition and that is a THE RECIPE.
This isn't to say non-golden light photos are bad. Im just trying to get people out of their heads about some magic settings. Lighting and the atmosphere you wish to convey is what should guide you.
