Fuji x100vi - 1st time use
Finally got around to using the x100vi after being lucky enough to find one in stock at B&H.
I admittedly was ready to sell this thing after a few weeks of photographing my kids at the park and doing some street photography on my way to work because I couldn’t grab focus and my photos lacked any humph at 35mm.
However, I took the camera with me to a wedding in Dallas and after taking 500+ photos over a four day weekend it finally clicked for me. While I still need to improve on getting to know the menu system (coming from Sony), grabbing focus, and remembering to turn on and off the ND filter (you can probably guess from the photos which is which), I’m beginning to enjoy the form factor and richness in color.
A wedding was the perfect place to help me play around with settings as the form factor of the camera allowed me to take tons of photos without feeling obnoxious to anyone around me.
Enjoy some of the photos I took and any feedback is welcome!
First pic is my beautiful wife 😗.
