Recovering a badly lit portrait
This was my second portrait photoshoot from March 2025, and I did not know wth i was doing tbh, but really wanted to salvage it!
**Update: Disclaimer:** I am seeing AI accusations, so I attempted to break down this edit as best as I could. I will take all the criticism and feedback (please) for a bad edit of a throwaway shot as my early days experiment, but please don't accuse me of AI. It looks AI because of my terribly harsh editing (lack of) skills at the time lol. I'm taking an oath here that I hereby declare that I edited the lights out of this shot, literally by playing with every setting bar possible, manually, one by one, like the amateur that I was/am, and brought back light to her face, harshly, making it look AI.
It's a **terrible** photo, before and after, and I was looking back at my year's worth of photography this week and wanted to share this shot, particularly because I can see all the mistakes I could've made on this one.
