The best £85 I have ever spent on a lens. SG-Image 25mm F1.8
I’ve been wanting a pancake lens for a while and was using the TTArtisans 27mm f2.8. However, I wasn’t a fan of the vignetting and the 2.8 was just not quite enough for me.
While scrolling on reddit, I saw a post about the SG-Image and I was genuinely shocked becuase this thing is tiny but then also packs in an aperture of F1.8 and I’ve never seen a pancake lens like this. At £85 you just can’t go wrong and I have been pleasantly surprised.
Is it going to win any awards for sharpness or it’s bokeh? Absolutely not, but I think that’s what makes it special. I love a lens that has character and this lens does exactly that :)
