Xt50 f3.5/5.6 XC 15-45
Sooooo when searching for what my first camera was going to be, I went back and forth between a Sony a6600, then decided I liked the SOOC strengths in Fuji, so then had the difficult task of deciding which Fuji, and which I could actually afford. Budget was £1100 mac for lens and body so I knew it was going to be tight. Ended up going for the xt50 due to size, 40mp sensor, also I think I found it for a steal (correct me if I’m wrong). Anyway, even when searching for which Fuji, I don’t feel the xt50 is very popular. Xt5, yes, but also way pricier. Xt50 seems like a great camera but why no hype? Where my fellow xt50 people at???
Having said that I hated this lenses when I got it (XC 15-45). It’s sooo bad in lowlight but the wide angle of the 15mm is super neat. I realised I’m a pixel peeper, and no I won’t be changing my ways, but the lens isn’t so bad for a relative beginner in photography.
I’m deciding to live within my means so I’ll be making the most of this lense until I can afford a fairly new f2 35mm or a 1.4 33mm. Then I expect I’ll be taking amazing pictures with everything I’ve learned in the meantime.
Anyway, for anyone considering these specs, here are some pics I’ve taken with it in my trip to Morocco! For seasoned professionals, how could I improve my skills? Composition? Taking valid critiques.
Best.
