Fujifilms age ridiculously well (Finepix 3800)
Note: Yes I know these are boring photos, I'll try and dig this thing out this year to do some better ones, this is just a demo of the 15 year old camera's quality
Sure the resolution is only 1600x1200 so just shy of 2 megapixels however I will say the quality (which might not be visible because of Reddit compression) is actually really good. It looks like early 35 mm film scans almost. Nice sharp look, great colors, and F 2.8 as per the norm for Fujifilm bridges from the Finepix line.
For a camera that is like 15 years old I honestly think this one still holds up even today (mind you these photos were taken several years ago). If you don't mind the challenge of finding an xD card and having a set of rechargeable batteries to be maintained then it's still a really fun camera. A step above a point and shoot (it's a small bridge) and does everything a point and shoot does just that much better!
