Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary
This is my first time owning a Fujifilm camera and I couldn’t be more excited. These photos were shot on a used X-A1 using a scuffed Fujinon 50-230mm lens. I don’t think there’s a film simulation on these because I didn’t know how to use them at the time.
I’ll make another post later about how much I love this camera, but right now I just really wanted to shout out the Wolfdogs at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary. I had the chance to do the interactive tour where we’re able to go into the enclosures and observe them a bit closer. The staff there do a fantastic job of making sure that the animals are well respected and cared for. I highly recommend taking a detour to check them out if you’re ever visiting Calgary or the greater Banff area in Alberta.
I’m open to thoughts and feedback on these images. I really like to photograph animals as a hobby but the chance to meet new creatures can be rare.
