How can I become better at this?
Here’s a mix of shots from Japan and Oslo. Some are edited RAW files, while others are straight out of the camera.
I picked up a Fujifilm X-T50 and a sigma 18-50 f2,8 (+ a black mist filter while in japan) right before heading to Japan last October, and I’ve spent the last few months learning of exposure, f-stops, and composition and such. It’s been a blast, but I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a plateau. Honestly, I’m struggling with what comes next. I find myself just snapping things because "the light looks cool" without much of a plan or purpose.
Are any of these actually working? I’d love some honest feedback. How do you guys move past the "beginner" phase and start shooting with more intent? Any tips would be a awesome! And thanks for replying :D
