First week of photography
Wanted a point and shoot camera for street photography. My choice was limited as the main criteria was compactness. Looked at the Griii but really wanted to try fujifilm and the simulations, x70 was on the table but ultimately felt like bad value with the current prices x100vi felt too big. Ended up with the xm5 which it took me a long time to find because for my use case a lot of fixed lenses were recommended and the xm5 was just never in the lists or rankings I came across for compact point and shoots. Only when my YouTube recommendation became filled with camera videos did I stumble across a video about. I have noticed most people hate it because of the lack of viewfinder, but for me if I can get it more compact it’s okay, at least until I learn my preferences in photography and equipment. I paired it with a 27mm fujifilm pancake lens. Giving me a focal length of 40mm. Here are my first shots after figuring out how to use it. Any tips and tricks going forward would be great! Still struggling with the light triangle at times.
