Fuji XF 56mm f1.2 appreciation
I'm reasonably new to this, and really just love taking photos. A couple of years ago I picked up a reasonably cheap XT30 and a 35mm f2; which was a great place to land to try and learn how to do this.
Then came a great deal on the XF56mm. Man it changed most ways I approached taking photos. Just the right focal length for how I saw the world I guess, and wicked sharp. It was the first lens where I remember truly understanding the impact of aperture (I'm not the quickest here).
It's super quick, not wildly overweight against the XT5 recent upgrade, and honestly just a treat in particular for portrait and candid images. If you're at all thinking about buying it, just do it, it's wonderful.
