Little Wild Horse Canyon
These were taken on a recent mountain biking trip to Utah and Colorado. There is a slot canyon near the San Rafael Swell in Utah called Little Wild Horse Canyon, which is very walk-able and doesn't require canyoneering gear. Worth a visit if you are ever in the area!
The third and fourth pictures here are the result of me experimenting with a concept that came to me while fooling around with compositions. I noticed in many cases that I could find converging lines in the foreground and background, so I tried to frame images where those lines met and used a high aperture value to get the entire scene in focus. It wound up giving a little bit of an optical illusion feeling, which I really liked.
