I live by a river in urban Denver (XT20, 23mm, 56mm, 18-55)
I spend hours walking in my neighborhood in Denver. There is so much beauty here that I have longed to capture. I do watercolors but my skill and patience run out before my hands can represent what my eyes see. So I dusted off my XT20 that I've owned for 6 years and barely used. Some of these pics are with the 18-55 kit lens, but I recently got some primes to try out and went on a three hour walk last night.
I understand now why the 23 mm f/1.4 is so popular. I got a super "well used" one for $254 off MPB just to try it out, and might have to upgrade to the newer one at some point because it's a keeper. I also used a 56mm f/1.2 prime. And a 55-200 f/3.5-4.8 at the skate park.
Thanks for letting me share my city.
