The Suzuki Super Carry
The Suzuki Carry:
Despite never being sold in Morocco officially, the streets of Tangier are filled with this little van. Mostly imported from Europe to Morocco, the Suzuki Super Carry is often used for small business logistics. The vans can be spotted carrying people, herbs, furniture, even live sheep. Often, the Carry sports peculiar aftermarket stickers and other customisation. The Tanjaoui (the people of tangier), often call this van ‘Honda’, even though it clearly sports a Suzuki badge. Funnily enough, some of these trucks sport a Chevrolet badge. These identical trucks were sold in Tunesia and made their way onto the streets of Morocco.
From the beginning of my three month stay in Morocco, I have been fascinated by this little truck. Small and utilitarian. I love its boxy look, how every single one looks unique, and how the Tangaoui take pride in their 30+ year old ‘Honda’. I hope to drive one some day.

I know this is not the style of this subreddit, and my photography is far from professional. But I've had great fun doing this little project, and seeing the toxicity on this subreddit about "quality standards" and whining about "piss filters", I think it should be fun to share some of our passion projects, just for the passion.
All images are shot on an X-T50, with the XC35mm f2 with mist filter and polariser, and the XF50mm f2. All SOOC with some cropping.
Let me know what you think!
