Decisions at the edge | X-T1 + adapted Canon 50mm f/1.4
Took the old X-T1 out for a walk recently paired with an adapted vintage Canon 50mm f/1.4 and ran into this little guy.
There is something so special about the rendering of the original X-Trans I sensor when you pair it with older glass. I wanted to lean heavily into the graphic geometry of the concrete ledge, so I edited these to be high-contrast, minimalist black and whites.
The first is the original vertical frame, and the second is a tighter horizontal crop to give the turtle some "room to look into."
