청명하다 (Two weeks in Seoul with a XF10, X-S20 + Viltrox Air 15mm F/1.7, TTartisan 75mm F/2)
Spent two weeks in Seoul mostly for vacation, and for a bit of work (hence the X-S20). These are just a few casual snaps and personal moments during my trip. Raws processed in LR Classic, XF10 images using the Classic Chrome color profile as a base and X-S20 images using Classic Neg respectively. For anyone interested, I also [shot a lil bit of video with my Kodak Charmera.](https://www.reddit.com/r/toycameras/comments/1tp7s0z/%EC%B2%AD%EB%AA%85%ED%95%98%EB%8B%A4_seoul_with_a_charmera_wide_angle_converter/)
I've been in love with colder tones lately with my work, and knew even before landing in Incheon that this was where my personal creative direction was heading as a palette and motif for this trip. My XF10 is ever so slightly "modified" in that it has a 1/8th black mist filter sticky taped to the front (due to the lack of filter threads on the XF10 rip) and also has a sticky magnet attached under the flash. I then used the warming CTO gels from the Godox MA-01 gel kit meant for iT20/22 flashes. This lets me warm the flash, and when I white balance for that warmer output on my subject it further enhances the colder tones I wanted to emphasize in the environment. I rarely ever shoot anything outside of commercial fashion portraiture, and I must say it was such a delight using my beat up XF10 and makes me wish Fuji would truly update this wonderful snapshot machine.
I've said it before and I will say it again: If fuji released an XF10 successor and marketed it to gen z as a flash point and shoot and created a specific QuickSnap (their disposable 35mm cameras) filmsim tailored for a flash images for nights out, they would sell every copy made at the factory and tap into the endless appetite for digicams.
