First Time With An X100F
I got a great deal on a super clean X100F, we’re talking under 1K shots and mint packaging clean, and after a few weeks now I finally got a chance to take it past the confines of my home! The wife and I did a single night of camping at Acadia National Park, so these images are just from a quick drive around the area (and one of a rainbow in our backyard on the day we left!). Hard to get a bad photo of the coastline in that area, but I’m just in love with the Fuji look!
For reference I’m a full time wedding photographer, so photography has reached the point of almost always feeling like work. After seeing so many wonderful images posted on here, I started looking into getting a fun travel camera, and the X100F fit the bill and the budget! This thing is so fun and I’m blown away by the jpegs it puts out! Really excited to spend more time with it. There’s definitely a learning curve coming from my Sony a7r ivs that have become an extra set of hands at this point!
I’ve got a K&F mist filter on, and I used a version of Reggie’s Portra for the color and my own custom recipe for the b+w. A handful of these I slightly tweaked in Darkroom while adding the borders (I like them.) but for the most part they are out of camera jpegs!
